Simpliframe is the alternative to wood framing for soffits, chases, or raceways. It will allow you to do it yourself, in less time and with less headaches.
Simpliframe only has three steps. First, you start by screwing the corner bracket into a wall stud or floor joist. Next you connect Part B and Part C to close off the frame. Repeat these steps every 16″ to 32″ (typically every stud or every other stud). The final step is to cover the simpliframe with gypsum board or trim.
Simpliframe is an alternative to wood framing. It will save you time because you don’t need to cut wood to size or hold it above your head and have a partner screw it to the wall and ceiling for you. It gives you more usable space inside the soffit such as to fit cables or pipes. It reduces the mess in your house with no saw dust. Simpliframe allows DIY’ers and professionals alike to quickly and easily create a soffit in a house without the mess or time of traditional wood framing.
Using the optional Part E or “pipe bracket”, you can install the supply water for your new sink or bathroom. It is designed to snap onto 5/8″ and 3/4″ PEX tubing, 3/4″ copper pipe, or 1/2″ PVC electrical conduit. Perhaps you need to run electrical cables to a new fixture or room and you don’t want to open up a wall to start drilling through studs, create an easy soffit installation using simpliframes in minutes as compared to hours with wood framing.
